About
About OneComm
OneComm is the OS for youth sports. This page is the plain-language version — what the product is, how it's spelled, and what the words in it mean.
Is it OneComm or One Comm?
It's OneComm, one word. People also write One Comm, OneComm Athletics and One Comm Athletics; they all mean the same product from the same company.
What it is in one sentence
A single app where a youth sports league runs its schedule, fields, rosters, message boards, volunteer and umpire sign-ups, training videos, documents and coach onboarding — and where every coach, parent and player has one profile across every league they belong to.
What it isn't
OneComm doesn't score games, stream them, or collect registration fees. Leagues keep GameChanger for scoring and their registration tool for sign-ups, and run everything else in OneComm. See the comparisons.

Definitions
- OneComm
- The product: an operating system for youth sports leagues, as a web app and an iOS/Android app. One word, capital O and capital C. Also written One Comm, OneComm Athletics or One Comm Athletics.
- OneComm Athletics
- The company behind OneComm, and the name of the mobile app in the App Store and Google Play.
- League (organization)
- The top-level unit in OneComm: a Little League, a rec soccer league, a select club. It has a board, seasons, divisions, teams and fields. A person can belong to several.
- Season
- A run of play inside a league — Spring 2026, Fall Ball. Divisions, teams and the schedule belong to a season.
- Division
- An age or skill group inside a season — Majors, Minors, U10. Every division has its own board and its own training and documents.
- Team
- A roster of players and coaches inside a division. Every team has a board and appears on the schedule.
- Board (message board)
- A channel where people post and reply. OneComm creates one per division and per team, plus role boards (all coaches, the board of directors), custom groups and direct messages.
- Announcement
- A post pinned to the top of a board, sent as a notification to everyone on it.
- Inbox
- Everything addressed to you across all your boards and leagues, so you can see what needs a reply.
- Onboarding workbook
- The spreadsheet a league fills in — board, divisions, teams, coaches, fields, schedule — and imports to build the whole league in OneComm.
- Profile
- A person's single OneComm account. Roles (director, admin, coach, board, parent, player) are held per league, so one profile works across every league someone belongs to.
- Field
- A place games are played. The schedule is stored with fields so a director can see every game on Field 3 today, not just one team's.
- Sign-up list
- A list of slots — snack duty, field prep, umpire assignments — that parents and umpires claim from the app.
- Training center
- Videos and documents published per division, so a coach sees the drills and rules for their age group.
- Onboarding steps
- Per-person requirements such as CPR certification and background checks, tracked by the league before a coach or volunteer is cleared.
